How we conducted our Tests

TV evaluation is more than just kicking back and watching a movie. We did lab test every TV by measuring color accuracy, gamut and brightness in order to be in a position to see which sets are the best.

We also conducted test on the lag time by using the Leo Bodnar HDMI input delay tester. This tester helped us in measuring how long it does take for content to travel from its original source to the screen in millisecond.

We did use the results to help us in making comparisons on the quality of display and color. We also spent our time with each of the sets in order to get a more subjective evaluation and see how the lab results would translate into real world performance.

We did compare all the TV sets side by side and viewed all the samples from the latest movies, specialized the test patterns which highlights both the weaknesses and the strengths of each display together with a wide range of contents across different sources.

We used the information we go to tell decide which TVs was had the best sound, offered the best viewing experience and looked best.
